Wclcome cousin Z - we are sooo happy you are here and healthy. 
With the arrival of baby number 2 in 8 weeks or less...I of course have some things I would like to get done before our crazy world becomes even crazier....but it seems that the end of the day arrives and I find I've gotten nothing I had hoped to accomplish done....I wonder why???
A has figured out how to crawl into the toy basket....usually choosing to go in with ALL the toys, but then finds herself screaming for me to get her out. 
And nothing I guess is better than relaxing in the laundry basket with her blanket and diaper bag!
A enjoyed wearing my socks this afternoon, forget her own socks....she only wanted mine on! Of course they were a little big, up to her hips in fact - they reminded me of the leg warmers we all wore at one point in time.
I was working today in Baby E's room a bit....and A decided she needed to be right in the thick of it with me....She insisted on being in the crib, and then I pulled this chair out...and I couldn't get her out it.....I am sure she is going to be quite the helper. I have to make sure the baby is put up high when in this chair or I am afraid he might just be smooshed by A.
We are slowly getting the room to come together....Tonight E put up all the red trim board and put the crib together. We weren't too sure how A would handle the noise of the nail gun going off while she was asleep in the next room over (sharing a common wall) but she never even stirred....So I guess if she can handle sleeping through a noisy nail gun hopefully she can sleep through a crying newborn.
We think A might have been trying to imply something last night....(It's cold in our house). She was insistent on wearing her hat (which for her is not common). She hates having a hat on....but last night she was upset if we took it off.
Mom and I went to Billings this week to spend some time visiting there...since I hear we won't probably be able to come back after this trip for awhile...something about a baby coming soon...I am not so sure what that is all about. And while we were here we got to go and watch Aunt B try on all this vancy white dresses.....something about a wedding - I am not sure what weddings are yet either. Must be fun though...cause it was sure fun watching Aunt B in all those dresses and trying to touch them.
We made A one big cupcake and a few small cupcakes.
The party hat was very short lived.....I think we were lucky to even get one picture with it on....but it sure was cute!
A had no problem digging right in to the sugary sweet frosting.
And to my surprise - she actually ate the entire (small) cupcake.
But did she even have lot's of enery when she was done.....She was the energizer bunny last night that just kept going and going and going.
We had a small party for A yesterday. A's Grandma and Grandpa D, Great Grandpa D, Aunt B and J all came from Montana for the celebration and a few of A's friends from RC came also.
A seems to have no problem opening gifts...as long as you start it for her...she could wrip paper all day. She was totally insistent also on only sitting on Grandma D's lap.
A pricelsss expression of joy - now if she was only that happy with every gift she received. a.k.a - the castle.
Grandma and Grandpa D gave her a new doll - hopefully in preparation for the real "new" baby coming soon.
Some of A's friends that came and celebrated her day with her. Thanks everyone for all the wonderful gifts!!!
A got a small castle/slide-swing for the basement for her birthday.....
She was very tentative around it and wasn't to sure about having any part of it....hopefully she'll warm up to it!
As long as she could just stand and touch it she was fine.......
But don't you dare try and set her on it......
A's first birthday is today!!! Can you belive it??? We certainly can't!! We celebrated yesterday with family and friends and will post more of Ana's big day later!!
