This past weekend Grandpa E and M came to visit and spend some time with us. We had a great weekend of eating, relaxing - a.k.a napping and visiting some of the sights around the Black Hills. - Thanks for coming.

Summer Evening
The weather was beautiful this weekend while Grandpa E and M were here.....we spent a great deal of time relaxing outside on the lawn.
Pucker Up!
When A is trying to be silly and get us to laugh this is the face she has begun to make....but don't get too close....you may get wet from the saliva she also blows out her mouth while making this face.
Puerto Rican Flair
Grandpa E and M brought this dress back for A from Puerto Rico.....A was quite a hit at church in this dress.

A always gets a good laugh from Dad's jokes and funny stories......or at least she is a good pretender!!

I really CAN feed myself
A is soooo insistent on holding the spoon after each bite....I've finally just started giving her her own spoon to chew on while I try and sneak a few bites in her mouth myself....as you can see from the picture neither of us had very much luck today getting the food in the mouth.
Cheesy Smile
A's new thing is to take a bite of food and then give us this very cheesy smile after each bite....almost like she is going to spit her food right back at us....it's pretty funny.

Reunion
Part of the reason we were in Billings this past week....Mom had her 10 year class reunion. These are some of her friends from high school...and there little boys.
All Packed Up
Dad got a new backpack to carry me around in.....they must think I am heavy or something that they just can't carry me like normal. This will do though...I really like the view.
Long Car Rides
Well, we just got back from another 6 day adventure to Billings.....I really do like it there....I am just not so fond of the 5 hour car ride.....I get a little stir crazy in my chair after about 2 hours.....

Afternoon Delight
So what does a 7 month do all afternoon??? Your looking at it.....A really enjoys entertaining herself in her little play station...most of the time....as long as she doesn't see me leave the room...she is perfectly content.

Enjoyable Times
Bath Time has become so much easier now that A can sit up.....she just loves sitting in this duck.
Grass?
While E moved rock and dirt last night....A and I sat outside on the grass and took it all in......This was A's first time sitting on the grass. If her grip was just a bit stronger I am sure she would have been pulling it up and eating it.
And the Rock moving continues.......
This week it has finally been cool enough to work outside a bit in the evenings.....E is continuing to try and fix a small leak we still have in our basement windows - by moving some dirt and rock around.....once this is finished we hope to be moving into the basement to start the work of finishing it.
