Trouble, Trouble, Trouble....

Pool play....

When Grandma and Papa were here this weekend they agreed to take the kids to the swim center to play in the water for awhile.....they LOVED it....it took Eli a bit to warm up to the idea of "playing" and Ema was freezing to death and about ready to fall asleep but absolutely did not want to get out of the water....it still remains the mystery though if this was the place that we picked up this nasty stomach bug that has taken over our house this week!

This is where Adi hung out - with me - on the pool deck.

Eli enjoyed the slide...but refused to do it on his own....I think Eric and Grandma each had about 10 trips down each!

Ana - quickly becoming our little fish!

4 little heads......

Today.....

And at three months....Can you tell who is who??

3 months old....

Time just keeps slipping away....Sunday Adilyn was 3 months old....and just today I finally got the camera out - to capture some pictures at 3 months.....

She has finally gained enough strength in her torso that she can sit for a brief time in the bumbo....

Her love right now though - is sucking on those hands....all the time - trying to get a picture without her hands in her mouth was quite a challenge.

And there is always a smile for someone!!

Birthday Celebrations.....

Eli's dinner choice was cheese pizza - which he will be proud to tell you he helped me make!

"CUTE AS A BUG" - don't be deceived though - her shirt really should say "SCARED TO DEATH OF BUGS" - the day was nice and the "bugs" were starting to emerge....and so it begins again - Ana scared of them all and screams if they even come within 10 feet of her.

Can you tell who wasn't about to be left out of this picture?? Eli got a "big boy" bike for his birthday and Ema wasn't about to budge and move so I could get a picture of Eli with it!

I am sad to report - but my kids will never have "designer" birthday cakes - I am just really not a baker - nor do I have the patience or desire to spend hours decorating cakes....so alas - cupcakes it is again with by request - blue frosting....Eli kept requesting "blue cake" - I translated that into blue frosting and obliged to that request.

The birthday boy!!

This little lady's only love was the "blue" frosting.....she left the cupcake for someone else....

And here it is....the "Race Car" bike.....Surprisingly he has picked up quite quickly the peddling and soon will have no problem keeping up with his sister.

A Seasonal tease.......

Last Wednesday (Eli's Birthday) - we had an absolute gorgeous day....70 degrees....and we spent almost the entire day outside....that day turned in to quite the tease though - we are back inside again - it's been cold and windy with snow flakes here and there for the last 3 days...Oh spring when will you really come??

A chemo update...

Not a lot to report - Eric has been feeling pretty good....he is usually always pretty achy but he can usually control that with tylenol.

We were under the impression that today would be his last Chemo treatment - but we were misinformed. About 2 treatments ago - they removed one of his Chemo drugs because it can be a pretty damaging drug to your lungs....and they are very cautious with this drug and because of that the Dr. wants to do 6 complete rounds of Chemo instead of the 4 rounds (8 treatments) Eric was orginially scheduled for.
So that means 2 more months (4 more treatments after today's) and we are now hopeful that his last treatment will be at the end of April. Thank you all for continuing to keep our family in your prayers.
