Z & E

Well here they are again, E still not lacking in nourishment....and proving to be the green giant next to his cousin Z who just happens to be older than him.

It was really fun watching these two interact...they just really enjoyed looking at each other....smiling and occasionally talking.

Well, we did it....we broke down and got our first mini van....the Kia just wasn't cutting it anymore in regards to space. A just LOVES it, I couldn't get her out of it when we first brought it home, I think she just loves the fact that she can walk around and climb up on the seat herself.
AND we had more space than we knew what to do with coming back from MT yesterday.

3 months old.....

Wow - we don't know where these 3 months went.....
He looks cute here...but he wasn't so happy about having his picture taken at JCP today....so we'll be going back another day to try again.

An Ow....eeeeeee

Every time A is wearing shorts she seems to fall and repeatedly skin up the same knee. Over a month ago was the first tumble...and it was just about healed when she fell this past weekend and skinned it all up again, and then again on Monday and yet again last night - we attempted to go for a walk and since she always insists on walking we just decided to not even fight the stroller and just let her go........well we barely got across the street from our house and down she went - so home we went to clean up another bloody knee. She has finally agreed to keep the bandaid on and our second attempt at the walk she was more than happy to ride in the kelty pack.

So my Mom keeps putting me in this bumbo seat....supposedly it's suppost to be comfortable -

E, unlike A, really doesn't mind laying on his stomach. His head is just so big and heavy he can hardly move it once he is on his stomach -

But he's trying......

And then he is all tuckered out.

Conversations with........

PAPA!!!

I caught A today just chatting away to herself....holding the phone to her ear or pushing the buttons...I watched her for a good 2-3 minutes just talking jibberish....and then I asked her who she was talking to and of course - she was talking to Papa!

Can I get a side of Ranch with that???

A has joined the likes of every other American and finds dipping her chicken nuggets in Ranch dressing to be quite tasty and well, if there is no chicken...she'll just eat the ranch.

A Bright Sun Shiny Day.....

This past weekend we had some very warm tempatures for a change....so we got the pool out for A to enjoy


She really wasn't interested in sitting in the water.....standing was just fine.

Splashing seemed to go over pretty well also.


I was a little unsure if she would even get in, being that she has recently taken a dislike to even taking a bath.


So mostly the pool time consisted of a lot of getting in and.......getting out.

When E was done mowing the lawn, he decided to give the pool a try also....A thought he made a good chair. We had finally had A convinced to sit next to E in the pool and we decided to see if we could teach A to blow bubbles in the water (some friends of ours recently did this with their son and on their blog it looked like he loved it) Yeah - not such a good idea with A....she was TERRIFIED.....screaming in terror....out of the pool, clutching to me with the tightest grip and not letting go. Needless to say we WON'T be doing that again...and hopefully we can get her back in the pool again.

My New Car

I've been on the hunt for one of these cars this spring at garage sales for A....they are hard to come by....but I just happened to spot one at a Antique store on Saturday....(I guess toys that were around when I was young are now considered Antiques)

The Fence.....It's DONE

Well, we finally bit the bullet and paid someone to build us a fence....and boy are we glad we did....we love it. The privacy is nice, no more dogs in our yard, A can run everywhere, and hopefully no more deer in our yard this winter.
