Mother's Day.....

A Happy Mother's Day....to me!! These four kiddos sure make my life pretty special and are 4 of the greatest blessings!!

Track Meet

Ana participated last Friday in the private school/home-school track meet that is held every year in the spring. And it was fun to watch her compete in the events she had been working on in PE class.

Ana competed in the 100 meter dash, 200 meter dash, 400 meter relay, and standing long jump.

It was pretty funny to watch these Kindergartners.....while running, many were also looking up in the stands to make sure they were being watched......

Standing Long jump.....this event was a bit of a wait...and I think Ana's turn actually rolled around she had lost most motivation to even jump!

These are the girls Ana ran the 400 meter relay with....not only did they take 1st place...but they set a new Kindergarten record in the 400 meter relay! - Great job girls!

Awana Awards Night....

This past Wednesday was Ana and Eli's last Awana night of the year.....

 Eli is moving up to Sparks next year....

Ana just completed her first year of Sparks.....

 

They both did such a great job this year memorizing all their verses!

Up to date....

Last Friday Ana had her Spring Music program at school.....so I got the camera out and got of picture of her before we left...and then proceeded to leave the camera at home....so no pictures from the program :(

On Friday Mr. Eli had the unfortunate experience of a colonoscopy  ...He was such a trooper though....and was so brave through the whole procedure!

Epcot

We spent a little more time at Epcot enjoying the different countries....and while we were visiting it was the Garden Festival.....The flowers were pretty amazing....

 

Magic Kingdom/Animal Kingdom

 Yes, we went spent time in all of the Disney World parks...but it is amazing how fast you can get through those parks when you have no kids, no bags, no strollers and no lines.....we had done everything we wanted to do in the parks and were usually done by 3 or 4 each day...kind of nice!

I will admit though.....I think once is enough....not sure I will ever go back now without my kids....it just seems a little more special through their eyes!!

Disney World - Kid-less - RESORT

At the end of April Eric and I took the opportunity to get away for a few days....Disney without kids...I know it seems so heartless but we really enjoyed it.....We were fortunate enough to be able to stay in the time share that Judi and Hal have. The resort was really nice...and we probably did not spend near enough time there just enjoying it's amenities....
