We woke up this morning to yet another round of snow....I am beginning to think we may see snow far into the summer! If you were not following the news last week you missed the incredible 2 day blizzard we had in the Black Hills. Lucky for us we only had about 6-8 inches, mostly because the wind blew at 60+ mph for over 2 days....but some towns close by got hit much harder. A few of the headlines you may have missed - the roof collapsed on the Wal-Mart Super Center in Spearfish from the 54 inches of snow. Lead (a town 38 miles from here) received 74 inches of snow, from this one snow storm. Needless to say E was very busy at work last week with power outages everywhere!
