Forgotten Not

"Little E here - so you may be wondering - where have I been......well sleeping. Seems I am not old enough yet to be out enjoying all these outside activities so I am often left inside to enjoy my sleeping chair - But fear not I am quite content just sleeping inside."

Trying it out.....

On Saturday....A & Cousin I decided to try out the slide while it was still at their level.

A - inside the sandless sandbox.....I haven't quite decided if I want to deal with all the sand I will eventually see in my house yet....it may just stay as grass for now.

The first ride in the swing - she likes it, she likes it!

A - wasted no time trying out the slide - we were not quite sure if she would be adventurous enough to try it out....boy were we wrong...she took off right up the rock wall and down the slide all on her own.

And even decided to tackle the slide - by climbing it.

Spagetti Dinner

Spagetti - 2 meals in a row - How LUCKY are we!!

These noodles are always better when you take them out of the bowl first!

Weekend Visitors

So we have visitors this weekend from MN and MA. Grandma J and Grandpa H are here along with E's sister E and cousin i. So we've kept ourselves very busy chasing two 1 years old and tending to a newborn.

These were some of the happenings of the day....

Venturing outside - We had a nice day today in the 60's and we are expecting 80's tomorrow.

E & H spent the afternoon assembling the play ground.....it's getting closer.
A was enjoying herself up on the platform of the tower until she saw the BUBBLES! Then she immediately wanted down.

Trying to get two 1 year olds to pose together for a picture proves to be quite challenging....they were constantly going - in OPPOSITE directions.Taking time out to enjoy the freshly mowed lawn and a banana or two. A doesn't take bites of her banana though - if you notice her cheeks - they are stuffed full of the entire banana she shoved in her mouth.


2 tired girls - an afternoon in the sun and WIND can do that to you.


Bath time - A has never taken a bath with anyone else so she was a little unsure of what to think at first. Ahh.... the times to come with her and little E in the tub together.

What we have at the end of this day. Hopefully tomorrow we can show the finished product! And poor little E - not a single picture of him today....he was here...he just decided to sleep through everything.

4 Years

2 houses, 2 states, and 2 kids in just 4 years. E & I are celebrating our 4 year anniversary today. Lucky for us E's family is in town visitng this weekend so we actually get to go out tonight and have dinner - ALONE!!!

5 weeks and filling out!

E was 5 weeks on Saturday. His cheeks and chin are starting to show all the effects of those good meals he's getting.

Funny Times and Big Blue Eyes

A has this school bus she likes to ride and push around the house...well today she found it incredibly funny to push it into things..a.k.a - the walls, the doors, our feet.

Swing Set in the Making......

A & E got a swing set this weekend...We decided after watching A go out twice and pick up deer poo as if it were something to play with or eat in our yard she needed something more to do in our yard.

This is the very beginning stages of E's hard work of putting it all together. He got all the lumber cut today...so hopefully by the weekend it will actually look like a swing set.

Tulips

It's been kind of a slow start....but the tulips are just about ready to bloom. We had a cold snap in March that slowed there growth a bit....but I think soon we will have close to 80 red tulips...stay tuned to see them in bloom.

One Month old...and finally feeling Content.

Little E is one month old today....what a month...sometimes it feels like it's been much much longer than that already....but I suppose before we know it we will be celebrating his 1st birthday...so we'll continue to enjoy him at this stage while we can. He has been quite quite fussy the last few days though...poor little guy was having a hard time pooping...but finally finally today he made some progress and he is much much more content and enjoyable - for everyone.

A has discovered how to take her diaper off...and if she can't manage to get it off, she does her best at trying to pull it off.

4 Weeks Old

Hard to believe but another week has gone by and little E is 4 weeks old today!! We took A & little E to have their pictures taken together today - a bit chaotic!
