The great room shuffle.....

The great debate....where do we put everyone to sleep at night....an on going discussion in our house for quite some time now....We finally made some decisions and hopefully they will remain permanent for a while because Eric and I are sure tired of moving beds and dressers around.
So prior to this new set up - Ana and Ema were sharing and then we decided to bunk Ana and Eli together, giving Ema her own space all the while Adi still sleeping in our room next to our bed...so it was time for a change.

Ema's room....still in need of some paint....all in due time....but she made the big switch today to the "big" girl bed...I sure hope it goes well because I am planning on selling one of our two cribs in a few weeks....her nap today was a wee bit short...after an hour she decided she was done and out of her room she marched!

Eli's so nicely decorated "baseball" room has now become Adi's new room....the red chair rail has now been replaced with purple....She hasn't exactly tried this new room out yet...but soon...very very soon!

And finally Ana and Eli's new room.....we were not able to keep the beds as bunk beds because the ceiling is too low....but none the less, 2 twins still work well in this room. The real challenge came in trying to decorate this room so that it was not "too girlie" and not "too boyish".....I decided to go with lavender and olive green.....pretty basic....and re-paint the walls a khaki color...this room used to be a bright cheery yellow when we originally did this room for Ana over a year ago...but she just didn't do well sleeping on her own down here....so now it's for both of them to enjoy!

in the words of Tim Gunn (from project runway): Way to 'Make it Work!' All the rooms look cute. It's always a challenge to figure who sleeps where and with whom. Our debate right now is if we should put Josiah with the boys - cause he really wants to be with them. We'll see what happens!
