Tonight we celebrated Eli's birthday among our family.....
Although Eli's face was ecstatic in this picture...this was probably his least exciting gift. Rain coat and rain boots.
A western vest to go with his new horse - "bullseye-buster".......
An the beloved pillow pet....a blue dolphin that I believe tonight may have been named "blue sky"....but that could change tomorrow.
And then....drum-roll please........
Eli's new drum set......I'm not sure yet my exact feelings on this gift....but I was the one that had to convince Eric about this.....so hopefully I won't regret that decision.
He was pretty excited....
Some "live" footage of our little drummer boy coming soon.....
This video is pretty funny.....1/2 way through Eli reminds us to sing "God's blessings to you"...and as a result I think Eric gets confused and begins to sing "happy birthday to Jesus" instead of Eli.....
And finally Eli's birthday treats.....St. Patty's Day Cupcakes.....

I still think you are crazy for getting your child a drum set but he certainly looks excited about it. We made those rainbow cupcakes last year for Hannah's bday. Cute - but a little tedious, huh? :)
