Update: Eli is currently in NICU and will be there for the next 3 days. He has been struggling with breathing since he was born and is currently on oxygen to help him breath. He chest x-rays are showed a possible lung infection and so they are treating it right now with anitbiotics for 3 days. His white blood cell count was also kind of high which is just another indication that he is fighting some sort of an infection - so needless to say it's been a bit of a rough start for everyone.
Thanks for all the well wishes - we are currently not really answering our cell phones all that much but we'll try to return your calls in the coming days.

Just wanted to let you know that we have been praying for Eli throughout the day today. We will continue to do so in the coming days as he battles through this infection. Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you.

Oh yes, prayers here in Fergus Falls for little Eli. He is in good hands (both with the Doctors and nurses and with His heavenly Father) so try to rest and trust all will be well. He is getting good care, the antibiotics will do their job and hopefully soon he will be able to come home as planned. Congratulations on your son!!
