I know you all are waiting with anticipation to hear if we survived.....WE SURVIVED!
The camping trip was a lot of fun....the kids did really well, other than going to bed really late and being HUGE grumps the next day! We all had a lot of fun...and even better it didn't rain!
Do you think they are excited to go??? This is where they spent most of their time while Eric and I were getting the cars packed up.
Yes, we did take 2 cars, but in my defense....I did bring the majority of the food and other misc. items for cooking/eating for 16 people to camp overnight with. The van was pretty full.....
The suburban not quite as bad.....
Here we are....our tent is all set up and ready to go....
Ana and Hannah.....
Eli - the kids were more interested in playing inside the tents to begin with than playing in the woods.
Ema....
Our entire group...all the tents set up.....
Eric getting a chance to relax......if holding two kids is really what you call relaxing.
7 of the 8 children....patiently waiting for the fire to be started so they can eat. The only one missing in this pic was Adi.
Trouble X3.......Eli, Oli and Henry
These three girls were off in there own world most of the weekend....singing, dancing, pretending and running around. Alayna, Ana, and Hannah
And then there was Ema....
And Adi......
On Saturday morning we decided to try and go on a little hike and do some fishing too. We didn't have much success finding a place to hike.....but we did find a small dock to fish off of....16 people on this small dock with 7 fishing poles....was a little interesting......it was amazing we actually didn't have anyone fall in.
These two got to ride in style....
All eight kids....you can see one was not particularly happy about sitting for a picture.

The 16 of us that went camping.....this is actually our small group (minus 3 that couldn't make it) we meet with on weekly basis and they really have become our second family!

Oh how precious!!!!!!!!!! So many beautiful children; young families enjoying being together. It blessed me to listen to the music and browse through the pictures.
Love to you all from an old Okie friend!! Gloria J
